Label:Delphian Records Ltd
City:Edinburgh
Country:Scotland
Description:Founded in Edinburgh in September 2000. Our philosophy is to present stereo locational recordings of the highest standard that are faithful to the natural sound of the halls in which we record. This means that we choose each venue carefully, weighing the advantages of each acoustic space against the needs of each project's repertoire; it is a priority for Delphian to record in settings appropriate to the period and style of the music. Our list explores chamber and chamber vocal repertoire from the Renaissance to the present day, with a special focus on Scottish art music and performers. Delphian can be contracted to produce private recording projects in 24-bit stereo technology; visit our website for details.
