Description:	Flat Baroque appeared in 1984 as "Baroque" Records (a fail safe method for publishing Pouring Rain songs on sound recordings), until legendary troubadour Utah Phillips, in a conversation with denis at an upstate NY music festival, suggested calling it 'Flat' Baroque Records. No one liked that idea, thinking it a mixture of high mindedness with low finances, or extravagant arrangements for simple songs, or a contradistinction in layered counterpoint? Just kidding Utah, it stuck like glue, and will probably drag us into the next millennia! Well, it did!
